About Us
Proverbs 23:11-12
If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain; If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not: doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it?
And he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? And shall not he render to every man according to his works?
Many women and young girls come to us feeling that their lives will be forever ruined by having a baby and the only solution is to quickly “take away the problem” and end their pregnancy. We help them to see the worth of their unborn child and themselves in the eyes of God by presenting the TRUTH found in God’s word. We help shield the outside pressures from boyfriends, parents, friends and a world that is screaming and pulling at them to sacrifice their unborn child.
For many of these girls seeking abortion, they are in a true crisis. More than just being pregnant at an inconvenient time, they are in a spiritual crisis. We believe along with practical help and encouragement they need loving truth. This is the real hope and help that can set them free..
John 8:32
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
Every abortion kills a human being who is made in the image of God. The physical, emotional and spiritual side effects of abortion are devastating for the women who seek them. With 1.5 million women seeking abortions every year, we have a true mission field beckoning Christians to rise up and take on this ministry. We must not ignore this rising problem in our country, in our state and in Shreveport alone where an average of 60 babies are killed each week.
When presented with this truth, we couldn’t ignore it and go about our lives each day. We have risen to the challenge to reach these women before they reach the doors of satan’s death pit; where women will be forever changed and wounded and where children are never given the choice to live. Help us in our fight by agreeing in prayer, giving to our mission financially and by volunteering at our center. There is something we can all do! May we each find our place and see lives forever changed.
