Life Stories – Shreveport Pregnancy Center

Not too long ago we received an after hours call from a sobbing woman saying,
“I just took a pregnancy test, I’m pregnant but I can’t have another baby…I need to see someone now”.

We made an emergency trip to see her at the center. She poured her heart out for an hour. We listened.

She thought abortion was her quickest escape – we responded by sharing Christ’s plan of repentance & redemption. We cried and We prayed. She left to consider. Later the news in a text came: “Thank you for your testimony. I’ve decided to keep my baby and go on for Jesus”.

We are on the journey with this momma and countless others. No matter the cost when Christ calls us to rescue, our hearts cry will be “here am I Lord send me”.
